Why should we meditate on the full moon?
To become Soul aware in the here and now,
- we need to learn to tune into the greater cycles that we are born into and
- we need to make a conscious decision to synchronize the rhythm of our personal life with the greater rhythm of the Divine life.
In other words, we need to learn to meditate like a Soul. Meditating like a Soul involves paying attention to the solar, lunar and planetary rhythms around us.
Speaking of the full moon, Djwahl Khul said, “The soul’s meditation is rhythmic and cyclic in its nature as is all else in the cosmos… The moon itself has no influence on the work; but the fully-lighted orb of the moon indicates a free and unimpeded alignment between our planet and the sun, the solar centre, the energy source for all life on Earth. At such times we can make a definite approach to God, the Creator, the centre of life and intelligence.”
To meditate like a Soul involves paying attention to and taking advantage of the once-in-a-month unimpeded alignment between our planet and the sun in order not only to align but also synchronize our energies and goals with the Will, Plan and Purpose of the Greater Life of which we are a unit.
Ideally we meditate daily. Daily meditation is rhythmic meditation, and rhythmic (regular) meditation produces rhythmic (regular) release of higher energies into our aura.
However, even if we don’t manage to meditate daily, we definitely should aim to meditate on the full moon in order to
- align with the energies that are available to us at this time and
- synchronize our personal rhythm with the greater rhythms of which we are a unit.
